Strategic planning is underway and Cobourg Police is looking for your input!

COBOURG (June 25, 2021) – The Cobourg Police Services Board and the Cobourg Police Service (CPS) have begun strategic planning for the next three years, and we invite the community to participate in the community consultation survey.

Integral to the strategic planning process is the gathering of valuable feedback from the community to provide direction on priorities for the next three years.

We are asking residents, local business owners and visitors to the Town of Cobourg to complete this survey as soon as possible so that we might learn your opinion about our strengths and opportunities. This survey is one of the most important tools we have to guide our strategic plan and set our goals and priorities for 2022 – 2024.

There will be other opportunities for engagement, including an upcoming Virtual Town Hall. Please follow the Cobourg Police Service social media channels for more details in the coming weeks.

The CPS community consultation survey is open for participation until July 31, 2021. People can complete the survey online by visiting cobourgpoliceservice.com. Printable surveys and large print surveys are also available by visiting our website or by emailing info@cobourgpolice.com.

“We are committed to hearing from all demographics. Everyone’s voice matters. To this end, we hope to receive substantial input from our local youth, families, seniors, and other groups. With the timing of the survey launch, we know this will take additional effort as everyone transitions to summer and the province continues to open. The Board and the Service thanks everyone in advance for taking the time to complete the survey. We look forward to presenting the survey findings in the coming months.”  – Vice-Chair Dr. Ron Kerr, Cobourg Police Services Board and CPS Strategic Planning Committee member.
