William Rourke

On September 22, 1915 Constable Rourke was assisting with an arrest when a struggle ensued. During the struggle Constable Rourke collapsed having suffered a fatal massive heart attack. He had been employed for 22 years with the Cobourg Police Force. Predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth “Dodd”, they had 7 children.
