Video surveillance footage showed a woman selecting merchandise and placing them into a bag. The female walked past all points of purchase and left the property without payment.
On June 3, 2025, police on patrol observed the female suspect downtown, and she was arrested. The 41-year-old Cobourg woman was charged with theft Under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
