UPDATE (March 17, 2025) – Arrest
A 42-year-old Cobourg woman has been arrested in a vehicle theft investigation.
On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, police took a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Sutherland Crescent. A person of interest was identified with the public’s assistance, and the vehicle was recovered.
On Thursday, March 13, 2025, a 42-year-old Cobourg woman turned herself in to police. She was arrested and charged with Motor Vehicle Theft and being in Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000. The accused was later released by way of an undertaking with conditions.
UPDATE – (March 13, 2025: 8:00 pm) – The person of interest has been identified in an ongoing vehicle theft investigation.
