A 41-year-old Cobourg man is facing multiple charges after police arrest on outstanding warrants Wednesday morning as part of the Warrant Apprehension and Bail Compliance project.  

On Wednesday, November 28, 2024, as part of the Warrant Apprehension and Bail Compliance project, members of the Cobourg Police Service in conjunction with the Port Hope Police Service located and arrested a man in the Municipality of Port Hope, on the strength of two outstanding warrants held by CPS. 

As a result, the 41-year-old Cobourg man was charged with Assault – spousal, two counts of Fail to comply with probation, and Beach of recognizance. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
