Our Auxiliary Officers greatly support safety in our community, from CPTED audits to Lock It or Lose It campaigns, community events and more. We thought we’d take the opportunity to introduce some of our current Auxiliary members.

Meet Auxiliary Police Constable Arnold Dela Cruz!

Born and raised in the Philippines, Arnold completed a degree in Business Administration, major in management, from the University of East Manila. He moved to Toronto in 2009, working as a Security guard in downtown Toronto. Since then, he also volunteered for two years at St. Felix Centre, supporting the Community Meals Program, and was posted as a doorman and wheelchair assistant at Sunnybrook Hospital.

From 2014 to 2019, Arnold served the City of Toronto community as Auxiliary Police Constable at 32 Division, Toronto Police Service. In late 2019, he was hired by (RCMP) Royal Canadian Mounted Police as police cadet trainee and headed to Regina, Saskatchewan. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, Arnold had to return to Toronto to be with my family.  Arnold currently works as a security guard at Robbins Hebrew Academy and Bethzedec Congregation Toronto.

“I am extremely blessed and proud to be part of Cobourg Police Service as an auxiliary member. It is an outstanding new experience to continue helping, serving the community with respect and strengthening the Police Service by representing the core values, integrity and teamwork.”

Right now, until November 17th, 2023, our applications for Auxiliary Recruitment are open! If you are interested in joining our Auxiliary division, please apply via the link here: cobourgpoliceservice.com/auxiliary-members/
