COBOURG (October 12, 2021) – The Cobourg Police Services Board Strategic Planning Committee is looking for participants to take part in community focus group sessions aimed at hearing from residents and business owners on the Cobourg Police Service (CPS) 2022-2024 strategic plan.
These sessions are an opportunity to hear first-hand from community members about their public safety concerns and policing priorities. It is a chance to dive deeper into quantitative results and share your thoughts on criminal activity in your town, on your police service and where the CPS should focus its priorities over the next three years.
These sessions will be facilitated by a third party to promote open and honest dialogue. No preparation is required, only your presence and great ideas.
All sessions will take place on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
- Local Business Owner 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
- Older Adult (65+ yrs old) 12:00 – 1:30 p.m.
- Public at Large 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
- Youth (14 -18 yrs old) 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
